Compensation & Schedule


* Pay Rate: $60-$65+ per hour, depending on experience


* Position: PRN / On-Call


* Flexible scheduling based on facility and clinician needs

Position Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include:


* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.


* Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life.


* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.


* Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).


* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge planning, and home safety.


* Monitor patient progress and modify treatment interventions as appropriate.


* Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


* Maintain compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications


* Current and valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.


* Strong clinical and communication skills.


* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


* Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.


* Previous post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
