Special Packaging Technician

SUMMARY: Ensure safe and efficient operation of various packaging equipment and related material handling systems to include the palletizer, depalletizer, labeler, tray former, stretch wrapper, pallet labeler, and associated conveyors.

Ensure compliance with all quality standards of finished product.

Operate packaging equipment to permit high rates of efficiency and a safe working environment.

Operational duties also include proper sanitation, sterilization, equipment C.I.P.

and proper cleanliness of the workstation.

Participate as a Team Member of their assigned Business Unit.

Direction is provided by the Department Manager, Supervisor or Lead who coordinates the activities of Team members involved in the packaging of product for their assigned Business Unit.

The Business Unit goals are consistent with company goals and business unit Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to include safety, quality, efficiency, productivity and customer service.
