Demand Planner/Sr. Demand Planner (Hybrid Role)
Your Job
We are currently looking for a Demand Planner / Sr Demand Planner in Atlanta, GA for the GP Dixie business.
This role will be responsible for Dixie Food Service Cutlery category demand planning and key account planning across a few top Dixie Retail Key Accounts.
This position will partner with sales / customer planning to gain customer insights, develop a forecast point of view, and lead S&OP meetings with our category team to gain forecast alignment.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA and will require a minimum of three days a week in the office and the ability to work from home.
What You Will Do
Forecast Management:
* Adjust and maintain the forecast for the next 13-weeks and long term 18-month horizon.
* Manage customer and regional splits based on trends and seasonality.
* Ensure promotion timing and pipeline fills are planned correctly for entire year.
Collaboration with Category Managers:
* Setup and lead monthly Demand Alignment meetings to present and align on a forecast for near and long-term plans.
* Set up and lead monthly Demand Review meetings to present forecast changes, forecasts performance, and demonstrated trends.
* Analyze monthly forecast pacing, communicate changes to supply planning teams and monitor forecast performance.
Collaboration with Sales:
* Setup and lead a monthly working sessions with sales to present forecast and gain insights from sales that could influence your point of view.
* Ensure the statistical forecast is an accurate base starting point.
* Discuss promotions in detail to understand past performance and future volume/timing plans.
* Have a point of view of gaps between sales forecast and key account forecas t.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience
* Experience with Microsoft Excel
* Strong organizational and communication skills
What Will Put You Ahead
* Previous work experience in a consumer goods environment focused on demand planning, statistical forecast management, and end-to-end supply chain planning
* 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Sales
* Experience with SAP IBP planning system
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
