About the role:

Vantage is seeking an, AVP, Ceded Reinsurance to manage execution of the company's ceded reinsurance programs.

Reporting to the VP, Ceded Reinsurance, you will coordinate ceded reinsurance activities with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain accurate and up to date records, and provide timely and accurate reports.

You will maintain a deep understanding of the company's ceded reinsurance arrangements, including policy terms, contract provisions, and claims processes, and build strong working relationships with business units, finance, legal, and reinsurance brokers to keep ceded reinsurance transactions running smoothly.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000.

Actual base salary for the selected candidate will be commensurate with experience and expectations.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


* Provide support to Ceded team’s management of the execution of the company's ceded reinsurance programs, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.


* Maintain a deep understanding of the company's ceded reinsurance arrangements, including policy terms, contract provisions, and claims processes for pre-placement and post-placement activities.


* Develop strong relationships with reinsurance brokers, business units, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient execution of ceded reinsurance transactions.


* Ensure that all ceded reinsurance activities follow regulatory requirements, including maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting as necessary.


* Partner directly with reinsurance brokers throughout the placement lifecycle, including submission preparation, market strategy, terms negotiation, contract wording review, and binding.
