The Facility Industrial Electrician is charged with the responsibility of installing, maintaining, testing and repairing high-voltage electrical systems, heavy machinery, and automated controls in factories, manufacturing plants, and industrial facilities.

All employees are charged with providing assistance in generally similar duties when management deems it necessary.

Special projects and activities may also be created where employees talents can best be utilized.

It is expected that tasks and requirements will change from time to time and employees will be asked to respond as needed and within reason.

Organizational Relationships and Authority The Facility Industrial Electrician reports directly to the Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Purpose Installation: Set up complex electrical circuits, wiring, high-voltage infrastructure, and production machinery.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive checks and fix electrical faults quickly to avoid costly factory downtime.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose wiring errors, motor issues, and sensor failures using multimeters and diagnostic gear.

Automation & PLCs: Maintain and calibrate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial robotics.Safety Compliance: Follow strict protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) rules and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.Reading Technical Docs: Interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

This position also requires the employee to: Frequently lift up to 50 Lbs.

Frequently uses hand tools in a repetitive motion Bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling and working in tight spaces Using lifting equipment (scissor, ladder, platforms) at heights greater than 6 feet.

Frequently pick up supplies from local vendors Frequently work in high voltage areas Occasional travel to other facilities as needed Obtain a GSM forklift certification Maintain a current drivers license
