Yard Laborer

Job Summary

The Yard Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks assigned by the supervisor to support daily yard and plant operations.

This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:


* Provide excellent customer service.


* Load customer vehicles safely and efficiently.


* Stock and organize inventory.


* Operate forklifts and loaders safely.


* Follow all company policies and procedures.


* Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.


* Transport materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.


* Assist with unloading trucks, including manual labor when required.


* Work cooperatively with coworkers, customers, and the public in a professional manner.


* Follow all OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety standards.


* Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).


* Assist with other duties and positions as needed to support operational requirements.


* Participate in cross-training opportunities and learn additional plant functions.

Physical Requirements


* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with team assistance or mechanical assistance.


* Ability to stand and work for the duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift.


* Ability to safely operate equipment and handle materials.


* Ability to work overtime as needed.
