Insurance Specialist - Internship (Summer 2027)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Insurance Specialist Internship offers a dynamic opportunity for students seeking hands-on experience in one of the nation's most respected crop insurance companies.

Interns will gain exposure to both the claims and marketing sides of the business through real-world projects, interactive classroom sessions, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

This 360-degree internship includes:


* Field experience in claims adjustment and underwriting


* Marketing and customer engagement projects


* Team-based assignments and problem-solving


* Classroom instruction and interaction with senior leadership

This internship runs from June to early August 2027 and is located in Johnston, Iowa.

QUALIFICATIONS



* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the agriculture/marketing-related fields listed above


* Minimum 3.0 GPA required


* Strong written and verbal communication skills


* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


* Willingness to travel locally as needed


* Eagerness to learn new systems, contribute to projects, and grow professionally
