Work You'll Do

As a Project Engineering Manager II on the project, you will:


* Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Oracle database environments hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) and related infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.


* Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across production and non-production environments, resolving issues with minimal operational impact.


* Implement and manage Oracle backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with mission requirements.


* Enforce database security controls, including user access management, auditing, encryption, and UNIX/Linux OS security hardening in accordance with federal and organizational security policies.


* Support database upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management activities while maintaining system stability and availability.


* Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and database objects to improve application performance and support evolving business requirements.

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree
