Counselor - Primary Residential

The Primary Counselor plays a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for residential patients and their families.

They guide patients through recovery using evidence-based counseling, facilitate individual and group sessions, and ensure active family involvement.

The counselor develops and updates treatment plans, documents progress, and ensures compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

They also coordinate transitions of care, maintain communication with external agencies, and support interagency collaboration.

Additional responsibilities include supervising student counselors, participating in team collaboration, managing safety risks, and supporting administrative tasksall while aligning with Serenity Lanes mission and values.

What We're Looking For:

* CADC-I certification, minimum

* Experience in residential SUD treatment, preferred

* Strong skills in counseling, documentation and treatment planning

* Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and ethical standards

* Trauma-informed, culturally competent, and team-oriented
