Reporting Analyst2

Position Overview BLOC Resources is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Reporting Analyst 2 to support Southern Company operations in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Reporting Analyst 2 will be responsible for analyzing business processes, collecting and validating data, developing reports and dashboards, investigating reporting and data discrepancies, and providing actionable insights that support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

This position requires a professional with approximately 5-10 years of experience in reporting, business analysis, data analytics, process improvement, business intelligence, or a related discipline.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, process owners, subject-matter experts, reporting teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze complex datasets, develop meaningful performance metrics, identify process inefficiencies, investigate reporting issues, and communicate findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Excel, data visualization, reporting dashboards, data validation, and business-process analysis.

Experience with Databricks or a comparable cloud data and analytics platform is highly valuable.
