About You


* A bachelor's degree in fine arts, visual communication, industrial design, graphic design, integrated communications, multimedia, or another related arts field.


* 0 to 3 years of job-related design experience or relevant internship experience.


* Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills.


* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat.


* Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.


* Experience coordinating and supporting marketing campaigns and initiatives.


* A strong visual sense and understanding of typography, composition, and color.


* Strong communication, media-formatting, presentation, and organizational skills.


* A highly motivated, proactive, and self-directed approach, with a passion for design within the built environment.

About the Role

As a Graphic Design and Integrated Communications Specialist, you will:



* Work with the North Florida Transportation Communications team to develop graphic design solutions-including graphic, multimedia, formatting, and interactive elements-for integrated communications campaigns and initiatives aligned with each client's objectives and priorities.


* Develop, illustrate, and produce design and integrated communications concepts that effectively communicate project ideas through graphic design, formatting, and communications-production processes.


* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subject-matter experts, communications professionals, behavior-change specialists, and transportation-safety experts to ideate and develop concepts through a unified integrated communications process.


* Participate in internal development sessions, work sessions, critiques, and client reviews.


* Support projects from development through completion.


* Provide support to the North Florida Transportation Communications team and its clients.


* Travel as needed for onsite meetings and client presentations.
