IT Generalist

IT Generalist Fernbrook Family Center Fernbrook Family Center is seeking an IT Generalist to provide technology support across our agency.

This position plays an important role in keeping our staff connected and our technology running smoothly by providing end-user support, troubleshooting technical issues, managing devices and systems, and supporting technology needs across multiple Fernbrook locations.

The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-focused, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate technical information effectively with employees at varying levels of technical experience.

Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for employees across Fernbrook locations.

Troubleshoot computers, email, login/access, software, and other technology-related issues.

Manage and maintain employee endpoints, including Windows updates, driver updates, and firmware updates.

Set up, track, allocate, and maintain agency technology and devices.

Train new employees on the use of computers, servers, email, phones, and other agency technology.

Provide ongoing training and support to staff on effective use of Microsoft applications and technology.

Manage and support the agency phone system.

Manage user permissions within the electronic medical record (EMR) and server systems.

Troubleshoot and provide support related to the agency's EMR.

Maintain relationships with technology partners, vendors, and suppliers.

Travel to Fernbrook offices as needed to troubleshoot technology issues and provide in-person support.

Manage website updates.

Assist with technology-related operational projects and agency initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field OR at least three years of related work experience.

Knowledge or experience with computer systems, networking, and technology troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of general business processes and how technology supports organizational operations.

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Must successfully complete required criminal background checks in accordance with Fernbrook Family Center and Department of Human Services requirements.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required due to travel between Fernbrook locations.
