TransForm Automotive, an Amsted Automotive company, is looking for a talented CNC Set-Up Technician to help drive innovation, optimize machining processes, and support our world-class manufacturing operations.

What you’ll do

As a CNC Set-Up Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting machining operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives by:


* Performing production machine set-ups, including chucks, collets, tool bars, and blueprint interpretation


* Troubleshooting tooling, process concerns, and chronic machine issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity


* Investigating, developing, and implementing improvements to CNC machining processes to optimize machine capability, efficiency, and performance


* Replacing, repairing, and maintaining tooling and work holding equipment for CNC machines


* Supporting Engineering during APQP activities, including tooling and work holding development


* Assisting with automation initiatives by reteaching robots and supporting the implementation of automated manufacturing cells


* Collaborating with Engineering to create, revise, and maintain operator work instructions and manufacturing documentation


* Training operators on machining processes, preventive maintenance tasks, and new hire training as assigned


* Leading preventive maintenance activities, corrective actions, and equipment improvement projects within the machining operation
