Summary

The Banquet Setup Houseperson is responsible for the timely and professional setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet event spaces.

This position works closely with the Banquet Captain and Banquet team to ensure all rooms and event areas are prepared according to banquet event orders, room diagrams, and department standards.

The Banquet Setup Houseperson supports the successful execution of events by ensuring that equipment, furnishings, and event spaces are properly arranged, maintained, and restored before, during, and after each function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and outdoor event areas.


* Safely move and arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, risers, bars, buffets, and other banquet equipment.


* Follow event diagrams and setup instructions accurately.


* Assist with room flips and changes between events.


* Ensure event spaces, equipment, and storage areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.


* Deliver and retrieve banquet equipment, supplies, and furnishings as needed.
