We are seeking an experienced Senior Trademark & Copyright Counsel to support a critical global intellectual property function for one of the world's most recognized healthcare organizations.

In this highly visible, hands-on role with significant autonomy, you will manage global trademark and copyright matters for a portfolio of Johnson & Johnson's MedTech businesses, spanning Cardiovascular, Surgery, and Vision.

You will work closely with business leaders, brand and marketing teams, and legal colleagues to protect and strengthen our iconic brands worldwide.

You will be a trusted advisor who exercises independent, seasoned judgment on complex matters and delivers practical solutions.

You will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Trademark & Copyright Group Leader, MedTech.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Manages all aspects of trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement, as well as copyright and internet/domain name matters, working with trademark and copyright paralegals and professionals.

• Provides proactive, strategic trademark and copyright counseling to brand and marketing teams and other functional areas that support the business, balancing reasoned legal analysis with business needs.

• Counsels on MedTech and broader enterprise copyright matters, including use and licensing of third-party content, and on issues related to emerging technologies such as generative AI.
