Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Import & Re-Export Lead US & Canada, located in West Chester or Markham Ontario etc.

Lead importation, temporary importation, and re-export operations across the United States and Canada, ensuring compliant customs execution, seamless cross-border movement of goods, and optimization of customs programs that support business growth, operational continuity, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities


* Manage end-to-end import, temporary import, and re-export activities across the US and Canada.



* Ensure compliance with U.S.

and Canadian customs regulations, trade requirements, special regulations for temporarily importation of medical for sterilization and internal compliance standards.



* Lead customs programs including temporary imports, duty relief programs, duty drawback, bonded programs, and other customs special procedures.



* Support new product launches, network changes, and supply chain initiatives requiring customs and trade readiness.



* Oversee customs brokers and service providers, driving performance, governance, and issue resolution.



* Manage import documentation, permits, certifications, licensees and customs declarations.



* Identify and implement opportunities for duty optimization, cost savings, and process improvements.



* Lead customs audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plans.



* Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Trade Compliance teams to ensure uninterrupted movement of goods.



* Monitor operational performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required


* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Customs & Trade, or a related field.



* Minimum 7+ years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, or international trade.
