Position: Activities Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Schedule Rotation: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off

Join Our Activities Team!

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable experiences for residents.

Responsibilities


* Assist with planning and facilitating daily activities and recreational programs


* Encourage resident participation in individual and group activities


* Organize games, arts and crafts, music, social events, and other recreational programs


* Assist with special events, celebrations, and holiday programs


* Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and supportive manner


* Encourage socialization and engagement among residents


* Assist residents with participating in activities as needed


* Maintain activity supplies and keep activity areas organized


* Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director


* Follow facility policies and promote resident safety and dignity

Qualifications


* Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred


* Previous activities or recreational experience is a plus


* Creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Dependable and able to work a 4-on/2-off schedule


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time | 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM | 4 Days On / 2 Days Off | $18.00/hour
