Strategic Sourcing Coordinator II
The Strategic SourcingCoordinator II expands on the duties of Strategic Sourcing Coordinator I andworks with the team to identify sources for commodities and services, manage bids, contracts, and purchase orders, and help develop product or service standards.
They maintain vendor relationships, monitor pricing, and assist the VP in ensuring effective fund usage within the organization.
Resolves daily supply issues using standard procedures.Builds relationships with new suppliers and enhances vendor diversity.Runs, evaluates, and maintains inventory reports.Ensures product supply continuity by reviewing purchasing contingencies.Addresses disputes or complaints with vendors, requestors, and the sourcing department.Updates and manages pricing changes.Generates purchase orders for requisitions.Shows proficiency in the design, maintenance and administration of Inventory management systems, policies and procedures.Understands internal controls as it relates to Inventory management and reporting.Uses Microsoft Office to generate and maintain spreadsheets, presentations, and documents.Exhibits a high level of organizational competency.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: N/A SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: N/A EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION: High School diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar field preferred.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: 3 to 5 years of experience related to purchasing, receiving and inventory management in the Healthcare industry.Has a proven track record in management of a centralized purchasing, receiving and distribution area.Possesses negotiating and contract management skills.Communicates professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.Solid decision-making skills.
