Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) or Registered (RMA) ReGenesis Health Care | Spartanburg, SC Full-Time | MondayFriday | First Shift Join Our Community Health Team ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support our clinical team in Spartanburg.
You will assist healthcare providers, prepare patients for visits and help create an efficient, welcoming patient experience.

What You Will Do Perform clinical support and administrative duties as part of the patient-care team.Complete pre-visit planning by reviewing patient charts, recent test results, correspondence and outstanding orders.Communicate incomplete tests, consultations and follow-up needs to the provider before patient visits.Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain histories and vital signs, and document information accurately in the electronic medical record.Prepare patients and assist providers with examinations, EKGs, OB/GYN examinations and office procedures.Perform blood draws and administer injections and medications as authorized, ordered and directed.Maintain medication sample records and process medication requests according to practice protocols.Receive patient calls and messages, gather relevant information, and promptly route clinical concerns to the appropriate licensed team member.Prepare, clean and maintain examination rooms, treatment areas, clinical supplies and equipment.Perform assigned point-of-care testing and maintain quality control records according to established procedures.Follow infection prevention and workplace safety procedures.Protect patient privacy and maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records.Provide respectful, culturally responsive support to patients and families.Participate in required training and maintain professional credentials.
