Snow Removal Crew Lead

We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Snow Removal Crew Lead who enjoys leading a team, operating snow removal equipment, and delivering exceptional service during winter weather events.

What You'll Do As a Snow Removal Lead, you will: Lead and direct snow removal crews during winter weather events.

Coordinate and assign work to crew members to ensure sites are serviced efficiently and safely.

Remove snow and ice from commercial parking lots, sidewalks, roadways, and designated areas using a variety of equipment.

Operate snowplows, sidewalk tractors, front-end loaders, snow blowers, and other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently.

Apply salt and other de-icing materials to maintain safe site conditions.

Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Ensure all work is completed safely while following company health and safety policies and procedures.

Monitor site conditions and ensure work is completed without causing damage to client property.

Communicate with supervisors regarding progress, changing weather conditions, and any operational issues.

Provide exceptional customer service while representing Clintar professionally.

Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including overnight, weekend, and holiday call-outs.

Qualifications We're looking for a leader who is dependable, organized, and committed to safety.

Valid and clean Ontario G Driver's Licence (Mandatory).

Minimum 1 year of experience leading a snow removal crew.

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Experience operating commercial snow removal equipment, including sidewalk tractors and snowplows.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Reliable with the ability to respond on short notice during winter weather events.

Cell phone with data required.

Available for on-call work from November through April, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
