Superintendent-Project Heavy Civil Marine

Murray Logan Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Superintendent - Heavy Civil Marine to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil/marine construction projects.

The Project Superintendent - Heavy Civil Marine is responsible for overseeing and managing all field operations associated with marine and heavy civil construction projects.

This position ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

* Minimum 7-10 years of heavy civil construction experience with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.


* Strong understanding of pile driving, marine foundations, concrete construction, bridge work, and waterfront structures.


* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.


* Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance standards.


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


* Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a dynamic construction environment.


* Strong leadership and team management abilities.


* Extensive knowledge of marine construction equipment and methodologies.


* Ability to identify and mitigate jobsite risks.


* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


* Ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.


* Excellent planning, scheduling, and cost-control capabilities.


* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.


* First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.


* Valid Driver's License required.


* Competent Person Training preferred.
