Job Summary

Operates a truck transporting product to and from specified destinations.

Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service.

Loads, secures, and unloads cargo as needed.

Maintains contact with dispatch and receives instructions for scheduled delivery or pick-up.

Follow and abide by all DOT guidelines according to federal and state regulations.

Responsible daily for vehicle inspection pre and post trip.

Job Responsibilities



* Operates company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.


* Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup based on schedule set forth by dispatch.


* Performs pre and post trip inspections and provides required reports.


* Provides professional customer service during delivery and pick up operations.


* Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.


* Maintain and protect all company property in excellent working condition.


* Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business


* Live on road experience with driver trainer


* Cargo securement as required


* Real time ELD usage

Job Requirements



* High school diploma or equivalent


* Must have a CDL A and at least 1 years of experience as a CDL A truck driver


* CDL license required


* Lifting up to 50lbs
