Wage Information

$37.39 - $42.75

Job Purpose

Technician role critical to the building, installing, and completing system up and maturation activity for production equipment and new model tooling at all auto plants across North America.

Support new technology and technology transfer from Japan/North America development teams into production across North America production facilities.

Provide production and/or emergency support related to manufacturing issues in support of production.

Key Accountabilities

Ensures equipment and/or software is running properly for production by following standard procedures.
Partners with a more experienced Technician to troubleshoot and repair tooling and leverages knowledge gained from training to begin independent troubleshooting of “low” risk items.
Proactively looks for/identifies potential for process and quality improvement and calls to attention of Supervisor; may occasionally participate in developing recommendations.
