Job Description

It is imperative the details below be included in the job description to meet Federal Work Study (FWS) compliance standards.

Each FWS position should have a job description that includes the:


* Name of position (Job Title) Men’s Volleyball Student Assistant Coach


* Classification of the position (e.g., reading tutor 1, reading tutor 2, laboratory assistant, library technician 1 or 2, etc.); Assistant Coach 1


* Name and address of the student’s employer (the school, public agency, nonprofit organization, etc.); 1 Castle Point Terrace Hoboken


* Department or office in which the student will be employed; Athletics


* Location where the student will perform his/her duties; Schaefer Athletic Center


* Name of the student’s supervisor; Dan Buehring


* Purpose or role of the position within the organization; Athletic Coaching


* Duties and responsibilities associated with the position and how they relate to the purpose or role; Organization, Data Entry, Tracking and Organizing.

Coaching, running drills, travel when necessary.


* Rates of pay for the position (cross-referenced to the wage rates appearing in the school’s policies and procedures manual); NJ Minimum wage


* General qualifications for the position and the specific qualifications for the various levels or rates of pay associated with the position; FWS Eligible, Stevens Undergraduate Student


* The length of the student’s employment (beginning and ending dates); August 2026-June 2027


* Procedures for determining a student’s rate of pay when a position has multiple rates; N/A
