Area Lead

This role is ideal for someone with janitorial experience who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Leadership Responsibilities: -Lead, train, and support custodial team members -Perform and ensure completion of daily cleaning tasks -Conduct quality inspections and maintain company standards -Support staffing coverage, employee training, and customer requests -Monitor supplies, equipment, and facility needs -Communicate regularly with management regarding operations, staffing, and service issues -Travel to assigned locations as needed Cleaning Responsibilities: -Vacuum carpeted areas -Empty trash and recycling containers -Clean and sanitize restrooms, drinking fountains, and common areas -Dust surfaces, vents, light fixtures, baseboards, window sills, and furniture -Sweep and mop hard-surface floors -Clean windows, entrance doors, elevators, walls, and light switches -Clean and polish metal surfaces and appliances -Spot-clean glass, walls, and high-touch surfaces
