ABOUT THE ROLE

 Amsted Automotive is looking for a Tool Crib Attendant to support the tool makers and production in the preparing, polishing, and inspecting of tools used in the manufacturing operations.

This role combines precision tool polishing with tool crib responsibilities to ensure tooling is properly cleaned, finished, staged, inspected, and available to support production requirements. This position supports production by extending tool life, reducing defects, and ensuring tooling meets print and process requirements.

The role requires precision handwork, attention to detail, and collaboration with Engineering and Production.  The position plays a critical role in extending tool life, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and ensuring tooling readiness while following established work instructions and quality standards.

2nd Shift Monday- Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, grease, carbon, coolants, with several elements continuously present to the extent of being objectionable.

Full-time position.

May require overtime, on-call, and weekend hours.
