West Texas Rehabilitation Center (WTRC) is looking for a 4th Year Audiology Extern who is passionate about patient-centered care and ready to become part of our Audiology family.

Working under the supervision of licensed Audiologists, youll gain meaningful clinical experience while developing your skills in a supportive environment that encourages both independence and hands-on learning.

What You'll Do As a 4th Year Audiology Extern, youll have the opportunity to build your clinical skills through a wide range of services, including: Perform and assist with diagnostic hearing evaluations.Gain experience with OAE, ABR, and APD testing.Participate in hearing aid fitting, orientation, counseling, and ongoing services.Gain experience with tinnitus evaluation and management.Participate in cochlear implant (CI) mapping and programming.Provide patient education and counseling related to hearing and communication needs.Work with patients across the lifespan, from infants through elderly adults.Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.Develop your clinical skills while working with patients from a 200-mile service area.
