Cashier - Hikes

DAYS WORKED: TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY TheCashier contributes to the Agencys mission by performing regular duties and responsibilities: Greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, operating cash register, opening and closing the Store, helping with pricing and sale of donated merchandise.

This position is located at 2217 Hikes Lane.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers in a courteous mannerOperate cash registerAssists with opening and closing of the StorePerform daily duties as directed to keep Store clean and orderlyPerforms other duties as assigned Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate with and assist customers, volunteers, and donorsGreat people skillsAbility to operate a cash registerAbility to stand and walk/remain on feet for long periods of time (essential to the job)Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistanceCommitment to the Mission and goals of SVDP
