This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience.
As a Research Intern - AI Fellow, you will be responsible for:
* Perform expert image annotation and structured reporting to support supervised learning for tasks such as detection, classification, segmentation, and quantification.
* Collaborate closely with AI scientists, software developers, and clinical researchers to refine model performance and provide clinical insights.
* Review and validate AI-generated outputs against radiologist standards to assess diagnostic quality and safety.
* Participate in dataset curation, quality control, and protocol development for multimodal imaging data (e.g., chest X-ray, CT, MRI).
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your skills with Healthineers:
* Radiology experience, especially focused on reading Chest CT
Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:
* Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR Has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program start date.
