We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Engineering Co-Opto be in AƱasco,PR.
* The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
* Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:
The Manufacturing Engineering CO-OP will support manufacturing operations, continuous improvement initiatives, engineering projects, and technical problem-solving activities within a regulated medical device environment.
Under the guidance of a Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Engineering Mentor, the co-op will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering while developing technical, analytical, and leadership skills.
The co-op will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, Validation, Automation, and Operations to support business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
This role provides exposure to process optimization, equipment performance, data analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, and project execution while applying Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives.
You Will Be Responsible:
* Support manufacturing engineers in day-to-day operations and troubleshooting activities.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, yield improvement, waste reduction, OEE enhancement, and operational excellence.
* Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing and process performance data.
* Assist in root cause investigations, corrective actions, and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies.
