Medical Hill Healthcare is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team on a Full-Time basis.

The Registered Dietitian will play an important role in supporting the nutritional health and overall well-being of our residents by providing individualized nutrition care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities


* Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.


* Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.


* Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight trends, dietary intake, and related health needs.


* Make appropriate dietary recommendations based on residents' medical conditions and nutritional requirements.


* Collaborate with nursing, physicians, dietary staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.


* Participate in care planning meetings and provide nutrition-related recommendations.


* Monitor and document residents' progress and update nutrition plans as needed.


* Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff when appropriate.


* Ensure compliance with applicable dietary, clinical, and regulatory standards.


* Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and resident care.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.


* Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.


* California licensure or eligibility as required.


* Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.


* Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.


* Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care.


* Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
