IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Overview: This position is responsible for leading day-to-day operations across on-premises and cloud environments.

The IT Infrastructure Manager combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, lead incident response, and drive continuous improvement while managing operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:


* Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations and workload prioritization.


* Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues.


* Administer and support enterprise servers, endpoints, and core infrastructure systems.


* Troubleshoot issues across systems, applications, and user environments.


* Maintain identity services, file services, and collaboration platforms.


* Monitor performance and proactively address capacity, reliability, and availability concerns.


* Lead hands-on troubleshooting of complex infrastructure issues across multiple domains.


* Participate in major incident response, including diagnosis, stabilization, and resolution.


* Support escalated network issues including routing, switching, WAN, VPNs, and site connectivity.


* Participate in network and security incident triage and response.


* Support firewalls, VPNs, and secure access technologies.


* Assist with security investigations and remediation efforts.


* Ensure infrastructure aligns with security and compliance standards.


* Support cloud platforms, hybrid identity services, and endpoint management.


* Manage user provisioning and access control policies.


* Contribute to cloud adoption and optimization initiatives.


* Support application infrastructure and performance troubleshooting.


* Execute and enforce change management processes.


* Lead or implement critical infrastructure changes.


* Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.


* Act as escalation point for helpdesk and end-user issues.


* Provide hands-on support during high-impact incidents.


* Provide mentorship and guidance to IT staff.


* Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.


* Identify and implement operational improvements.


* Collaborate with vendors and service providers to support operations and resolve issues.


* Other directives as assigned.

Primary Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


* 5-8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and support experience


* 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.


* Proven expertise in Windows Server & Desktop Environments and managing complex enterprise network infrastructures (LAN/WAN, VPN, Switching, Routing).


* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid network environments.
