Senior Sales Representative

Qualifications



* High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.



* Minimum of 10 years of experience in automatic door sales or the construction industry, with a proven ability to grow territory sales.



* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.



* AAADM Certified preferred



* Experience with ERP systems for quoting, building, and invoicing (Oracle preferred).



* Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to both small and large audiences.



* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet-based research tools.



* Strong negotiation and sales skills, with a confident and independent approach to client engagement.



* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.



* Capable of balancing short-term sales goals with long-term strategic growth.



* Mechanical and technical aptitude, with strong numerical and analytical skills.



* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.



* Demonstrated ability to solve practical and abstract problems with limited standardization.



* Experience in PlanHub and Dodge preferred



* Procore job management software preferred

Work Environment

The Sales Representative will primarily operate in a professional office setting, with regular interaction across departments including sales, operations, and warehouse teams.

The role also involves fieldwork, such as visiting customer sites, construction locations, and job sites to conduct surveys, measurements, and client meetings.

These environments may include exposure to varying weather conditions, active construction zones, and warehouse facilities.

The position requires frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment, as well as travel within the assigned territory.

A fast-paced, customer-focused atmosphere is typical, requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and strong time management skills

Physical Requirement

This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.

Field visits may involve walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs or ladders, and navigating uneven terrain.

The position may require lifting and carrying materials or equipment; items weighing50 pounds and more require a team lift.

Visual acuity is necessary for reading construction documents and specifications, and manual dexterity is required for handling tools, measuring equipment, and office devices.
