EMT/AEMT/Paramedic

Application deadline: 10/23/2026 Job Purpose and Objectives:Responsible for responding to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility.

Essential Functions:1.

Responds to ambulance calls and assists in providing emergency medical treatment2.

Performs CPR, dresses and manages wounds, splint fractures, and administers oxygen3.

Transports patients to proper facilities and prepares reports on patients conditions4.

Drives, inventories, replaces stock, and maintains upkeep of ambulance5.

Rescues persons trapped in accident situations6.

Participates in training sessions7.

Maintains the station house and equipment8.

Enforces and maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances9.

Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary10.

Complies with all organizational and departmental policies and procedures11.

Operates all job-related equipment, machinery, tools, and other aids as required or needed12.
