Country Manager – Mexico
Job Purpose
Implement country-level business and sales strategy, lead the country’s business operations, and build strong customer relationships to achieve short- and long-term financial, commercial, and operational objectives (profitability, revenue, productivity, customer retention, and market share) in line with overall strategy, standards, and guidelines.
Key Tasks
* Implement country-level business strategy in line with Hillebrand Gori vision and strategy, standards, and guidelines.
* Plan, organize, and ensure country’s business management and operations align with set objectives.
* Lead local sales, marketing, operations, and purchasing ensuring close alignment between commercial priorities and operational delivery.
* Define and execute the country sales strategy, including target segments, growth priorities, customer value propositions, sales targets, and pipeline development.
* Maintain regular, senior-level interaction with strategic customers and prospects to understand their business needs, strengthen relationships, support retention, and unlock sustainable growth opportunities.
* Drive disciplined account planning, opportunity management, pricing, and commercial performance reviews in collaboration with sales and product teams.
* Champion the voice of the customer across the organization, translating customer feedback and market insights into service improvements, innovation, and commercial action.
* Ensure country’s P&L (EBITA etc.), cost, and revenue management, working closely together with Finance.
* Monitor consolidated budget for the country and recommend course corrections for variances to budgets.
* Assess and report country performance and recommend plans for improvement.
* Explore and identify growth opportunities and propose market plans.
* Resolve conflicts/issues and ensure effective execution for critical areas such as matters related to service, market strategy, business development, investments, etc.
* Analyze complex multi-dimensional issues and improve, change, or adapt existing methods, techniques, and/or processes to be more efficient.
Stakeholders
* Influence senior business leaders outside of own job area regarding practices and approaches.
* Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across Hillebrand Gori.
* Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties, e.g., external service providers.
* Build trusted executive relationships with key customers, prospects, and relevant industry stakeholders, representing Hillebrand Gori in the market.
Management Responsibility
* Manage teams of experienced managers and professionals.
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Logistics, Management, or equivalent qualification.
