Job Summary The Lead Custodian oversees daily custodial operations while performing hands-on cleaning duties.

This role coordinates work assignments, conducts quality control inspections, monitors supplies, and serves as a point of support for custodial staff, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities Assign daily work schedules and tasks for custodial staffConduct quality control inspections and assist staff with correctionsMonitor cleaning supply inventory and prepare monthly supply requestsPerform general cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and public areasReplenish supplies and maintain cleanliness standardsRespond to client service requests and report issues to managementIdentify safety or maintenance concernsSecure work areas and follow all safety proceduresAssist with light snow removal and other assigned duties Requirements Ability to lead and work within a custodial teamStrong communication and customer service skillsKnowledge of standard custodial equipment and suppliesCommercial or federal facility cleaning experience (preferred)Ability to pass a drug screen and Federal Government background check Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation) Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periodsAbility to use ladders or step stools as required SDAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
