Junior Product Applications (Pre-Sales) Engineer AVEVA

Mission

As a Junior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will support customers and our Sales team in identifying, shaping, and presenting the right AVEVA-based industrial automation solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, Sales, and international technical experts to understand technical needs, clarify requirements, prepare solution concepts, and support technical discussions throughout the pre-sales process.

You don't need to know everything from day one - if you have a good technical foundation, curiosity and willingness to learn, we are ready to support your development into the role.

This is also a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to develop at the intersection of industrial automation, software, customer consulting, and pre-sales.

Key Responsibilities


* Support the Sales team during the early stages of customer projects.


* Understand customer needs, existing systems, and technical requirements.


* Help define and prepare suitable AVEVA-based technical solutions.


* Prepare technical concepts, presentations, demonstrations, and proposal inputs.


* Explain solutions to customers and support technical discussions together with Sales.


* Work with global product, technical support, and engineering teams when additional expertise is needed.


* Take part in customer meetings, industry events, workshops, and product demonstrations.


* Continuously develop your knowledge of AVEVA products and industrial automation technologies.

Qualifications & Experience


* Technical education or background in industrial automation, electrical engineering, control systems, industrial IT, or a related area.


* Familiarity with concepts such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networks, or process/manufacturing automation.


* Interest in software-based industrial solutions and willingness to learn.


* Ability to understand technical information and communicate it clearly.


* Good communication and problem-solving skills.


* Intermediate English or above

Nice to Have


* Exposure to AVEVA, SCADA/HMI systems, historians, MES/MOM, or other industrial software.


* Basic knowledge of networking, databases, or Windows environments.


* Previous customer-facing or technical communication experience.
