Manufacturing Engineering Intern

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $22 - $27 per hour.

In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States.

Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What do you get to do in this position?


* Be part of the Customer Product Deployment (CPD) Team supporting Medium Voltage products.


* Participate in 3F activities (Form, Fit, and Function evaluations) to support new product introductions and product changes.


* Conduct video time studies and process observations to identify improvement opportunities and support labor analysis.


* Develop and maintain labor standards, work instructions, and standardized work documentation.


* Assist with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) qualifications and validation activities.


* Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.


* You have interest in manufacturing operations.


* You have a passion for continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process optimization.


* You are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and interacting with production associates.


* You possess strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.


* You are proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.


* You have strong communication skills and can effectively work with cross-functional teams.
