Clinic Manager, Central Valley Job SummaryThe Clinic Manager, Central Valley Region (Bakersfield and Visalia sites), oversees the clinical operations, ensuring efficient and patient-centric care delivery.
This role is responsible for organizing and supervising daily clinic activities, optimizing workflow, and maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence.
The Clinic Manager fosters a positive work environment, provides leadership to the clinic staff, and collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
Duties / Responsibilities: 1.
Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff members.
Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
Responsible for processing employee timecards for all staff in the region.
Interface with practice administration to represent the Central Valley region and advocating as necessary on the region's behalf.
Provide mentorship and support to encourage professional growth and development within the team.
Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, resilience, and commitment to operational excellence.
2.
Patient Care: Collaborate with Front Desk staff to oversee patient scheduling, registration, and intake processes.
Ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
Address patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
3.
Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations at all the facilities in the region to optimize productivity.
Develop and enforce clinic policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards and operational excellence.
Manage inventory of medical and office supplies and equipment maintenance Ensure facility cleanliness and staff adherence with hygiene and safety protocols.
Handle medical waste disposal in accordance with regulations.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services.
Serve as primary user of electronic practice management and electronic health records and other practice systems.
Provide support as needed in technical or front-office roles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
4.
Training Program Development: Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Manager and/or Director of Operational Excellence to develop and deliver training content tailored to practice needs.
Conduct in-person or remote practical training sessions for technicians, covering various aspects such as patient history taking, documentation and EHR management.
Mentor and coach new technicians during their onboarding process, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvements.
Evaluate technicians performance through observations, assessments, and feedback.
Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
