What the Evening Shift Nurse Supervisor Will Do: Oversee the scheduling of nursing staff during the evening shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) to ensure adequate staff coverage for all residents.

Deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs and ages of the residents served.

Conduct thorough assessments of new admissions and current residents as needed.

Perform rounds on all units, connecting with floor staff and residents to address concerns and provide support.

Communicate expectations and handle coaching/education/disciplinary expectations for all evening shift nursing staff including CNAs, QMAs, LPNs, and RNs.

Facilitate seamless shift transitions by participating in handoff reports with the Day and Night Shift Supervisor.

Maintain clear communication with the Nursing Administration to ensure consistent and effective care across all shifts.

Fill schedule openings for night shift due to call-ins.

Current, valid Indiana Nursing license A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and making quick decisions Can foster good resident and family relationships Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment A passion for working with elderly residents Experience in long-term care required Familiarity with PCC is preferred Able to coach and manage nursing staff
