We are searching for the best talent for Automation Specialist Co-Op to be in AƱasco, Puerto Rico.



* The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.


* Full time requirement (40 hours per week)

Purpose

The Automation Specialist Co-Op will gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing automation and operational technology systems in a regulated MedTech environment.

The student will work alongside automation engineers and cross-functional teams to support equipment reliability, automation projects, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing technical and professional skills.

You Will Be Responsible For



* Supporting automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.


* Assisting with troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, sensors, industrial communications, computers, and networks.


* Supporting PLC and HMI programming, testing, and documentation activities.


* Assisting with data collection, system backups, reliability assessments, and routine system checks.


* Participating in automation projects, equipment upgrades, commissioning, testing, and startup activities.


* Preparing technical documentation, reports, procedures, and test records.


* Supporting design reviews, risk assessments, vendor interactions, and cross-functional meetings.


* Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, IT, and external suppliers.


* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulated-system requirements.
