Job Description:

Key Responsibilities



* Create a culture of employee empowerment, engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.


* Lead the maintenance team in following safety policies, procedures, and initiatives to support zero incidents and a healthy work environment.


* Supports capital expenditure projects, including planning, execution, and project management.


* Manage the maintenance budget by tracking expenditures and labor costs against mill and department plans.


* Direct root cause analysis for equipment and system failures and implement corrective actions.


* Use maintenance and production data to identify deficiencies that cause downtime or reduce equipment reliability.


* Provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, local, and capital projects.


* Supports and leads elements of preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability, machine improvement, and lean manufacturing programs.


* Plan and prioritize work orders, repair activities, outage work, and maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime.


* Oversee troubleshooting, repair, in-house design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of equipment.


* Ensure replacement tools, parts, and materials are available for manufacturing operations.


* Review productivity reports and conduct routine inspections for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.


* Communicate goals and objectives, apply company policy, and staff, train, coach, and develop maintenance colleagues.


* Promote positive colleague relations, review performance, and administer performance management in accordance with company policy


* Drive safety, environmental, and operational excellence initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.


* Supports and leads all elements of OPEX activities to include, but not limited to Performance Management, Leader Standard Work, Operator Basic Care, 5’s, and Gemba.
