Job Description:
Role Summary
HPE is seeking a Cloud Developer to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions that support mission-critical applications.
This role supports HPE's Cloud Services portfolio and works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems.
The ideal candidate has experience with cloud technologies, software development, and containerized environments, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
This position provides opportunities to learn new technologies, contribute to innovative projects, and grow technical expertise in cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications and services under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and design discussions to ensure quality and adherence to engineering standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system integration challenges.
* Collaborate with team members to implement cloud-native solutions and improve system reliability and scalability.
* Contribute to the adoption of development best practices, automation, and modern engineering tools.
* Analyze application and system data to identify issues and recommend improvements.
* Work with project teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and support the delivery of business objectives.
* Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Typically 2+ years of experience in software development, cloud development, or related disciplines.
Knowledge and Skills
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
* Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development concepts.
* Familiarity with microservices, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes.
