The Role The Staff Accountant is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day accounting operations for one or more of Alloys operating branches.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this person will own core close activities reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis while building the technical foundation for a future in corporate or PE-backed accounting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-track accountant who wants exposure to multi-entity, multi-branch accounting inside a fast-growing, private-equity-backed platform, with direct visibility into the monthly close, reconciliation, and reporting processes that support the broader finance organization.

Primary Responsibilities To be successful as a Staff Accountant at Alloy Roofing, you must be able to: ? Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities for assigned branch(es), including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.

? Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, intercompany, fixed assets) and resolve reconciling items timely.

? Support job-level revenue and COGS reconciliation, tying job cost detail back to the general ledger.

? Assist with accounts payable processing, coding, and vendor account maintenance.

? Support cash application, bank reconciliations, and day-to-day cash activity for assigned branch(es).

? Maintain fixed asset schedules and support WIP (work-in-progress) tracking where applicable.

? Assist with data entry, cleanup, and testing as branches are migrated onto NetSuite as the unified general ledger.

? Prepare supporting schedules for monthly branch financial reviews and ad hoc management requests.

? Support external audit and tax preparation requests with organized, audit-ready documentation.

? Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline recurring reconciliation and close tasks, including through use of AI and automation tools.

Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses the following: ? Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
