Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence while contributing to a positive rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities


* Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist


* Provide skilled physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence


* Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist


* Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation


* Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy goals and functional activities


* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning as needed


* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment


* Support residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and independence

Qualifications


* Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


* Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing


* Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred


* Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families
