The Team Architect will conceptualize and create product architecture for medical applications within the Computed Tomography business of Simens Healthineers.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
* Define and drive the architecture of complex software products, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
* Lead the design and development of applications using C# .NET.
* Provide technical governance for products, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
* Drive test automation strategy across unit, integration and system levels in close coordination with Test architect.
* Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed within development teams.
* Mentor development teams to implement consistent, high-quality architecture and design.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Support Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Work Experience
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
* Minimum a bachelor's degree in science or in a technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
* 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in architectural roles.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in a product development environment with a lead technical role and track record of delivering product/solutions.
* Prior experience in the development and delivery of applications for CT/console systems is considered an asset.
* Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
* Expertise in C# .NET is essential for this role and knowledge of modern full stack development is a plus.
* Strong command of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
* Strong communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Prior experience in healthcare domain and imaging background is advantageous for this role.
