ABOUT THE ROLE
Amsted Automotive is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform basic and skilled mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the plant to work 2nd Shift Monday- Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm.
Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, grease, carbon, coolants, with several elements continuously present to the extent of being objectionable.
Full-time position.
May require overtime, on-call, and weekend hours.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Independently troubleshoot problems and complete corrective actions on all electronic equipment including CNC equipment and programmable logic controllers.
* Complete all electrical testing.
* Prepare requisitions for all spare and repair parts as required for presentation to department head/activity leader/team leader.
* Assist and advise outside contractors on any and all work to be completed.
* Perform all general electrical repairs.
* Assist and advise Engineering and other support groups as required.
* Perform necessary recordkeeping and paperwork.
* Train and assist operators and other maintenance personnel as required.
* Perform necessary periodic maintenance on machines as required.
