MIG/TIG Welder

Eric'sons is currently hiring for an experienced welder/fabricator for our plant! We are a Trench drain manufacturing company currently hiring for several permanent positions.

Advancement to leadership positions available.

In the role of welder, you will be responsible for the performing the following duties: Job Duties: perform ordinary and repetitive hand welding operations.Operate welding equipment; regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals.Be able to MIG and TIG weldHeavy lifting may be requiredMya layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tape measure, square, scribe or templates.Mus be able to plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications.Must be proficient at reading work orders.A concern for quality control is a requirement.Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.May perform minor maintenance procedures.Insurance quality of work is consistent with quality procedures.Keep the fabrication areas organized.Communicate fabrication concerns to supervisor.Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures to insure a safe work environment.Work overtime as neededMust be able to pass a drug screeningMust have reliable transportation to and from work site dailyMust be able to stand for 8-hour shift.
