Key Responsibilities



* Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors equipped with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.



* Excavate and load materials from pit sites, stockpiles, and batch plants; load trucks as needed.



* Maintain a vigilant approach to workplace safety for yourself and your team.



* Lift materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds unassisted when required.



* Communicate clearly with co-workers, using hand signals and maintaining eye contact, especially when maneuvering equipment in shared workspaces.



* Adhere strictly to company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work practices.



* Follow direction from the Foreman regarding daily tasks and project expectations.



* Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing; escalate major issues to the Foreman.



* Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, documenting findings according to company guidelines.



* Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation, service, and repair.



* Perform general labor duties as required to support site operations.

Physical&WorkEnvironmentRequirements

• Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involvingphysicalagility.

• Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.

• Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs.
