To do this, the associate is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities Create and manage work orders in L2L, conducting necessary maintenance or repairs as needed.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Basic electrical troubleshooting, including replacement of three phase motors.

Installation of equipment and piping; setting up production lines.

Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems.

Rebuilding gearboxes and drives.

Repair and troubleshooting of filling lines.

Repair machines, equipment or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

Maintain constant communication with Plant Management regarding any maintenance issues that may arise so that Plant Management can adjust their production schedule accordingly.

Assist in the setup and teardown of machines and equipment at beginning and end of shifts.

Liaise with Production and Quality departments to ensure highest level of quality is achieved after any intervention and throughout the working life of equipment.

Provides feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation.

Recommends, supports and implements continuous improvement activities, processes, and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery.
